How does a Neuro Quantification work?

A Neuro Quantification is performed in conjunction with a traditional Brain MRI. After the MRI, one of our specially trained Radiologists will use your MR images to segment the images and measure the size of various parts of your brain. These measurements will be compared to a national database of your same-aged peers to determine if your measurements fall within the "normal" range. If not, it may be an indication for Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other neurodegenerative disorders.
