Body CT

A diagnostic test that uses sophisticated X-ray equipment to help detect diseases and conditions of the chest, abdomen and/or pelvic areas.

Body MRI

An imaging test that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to captures images of the chest, abdomen and/or pelvic regions.

Fetal MRI

A type of MRI performed during pregnancy to evaluate a fetus for any conditions or complications that may be present.

General Diagnostic X-ray

A type of imaging that uses electromagnetic radiation to produce images of the inside of the body.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography

A noninvasive test that uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to evaluate the function of blood vessels in the body.

Magnetic Resonance Arthrogram

A two-part exam that uses a magnetic field, radio waves and a contrast agent injected into the joint to show a more detailed image, including the cartilage, tendons and ligaments.

Magnetic Resonance Defecography

A noninvasive test that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to evaluate rectal function and determine how well the pelvic muscles are working.

Magnetic Resonance Enterography

A noninvasive test that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to produce detailed images of the small intestine to help diagnose Inflammatory Bowel Disease and other abnormalities.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound

A relatively quick test that helps to evaluate the soft tissues in the body, such muscles, tendons, ligaments and bursae.

Musculoskeletal CT

A diagnostic test that focuses on the extremities and spine and is used to help diagnose the cause of pains or symptoms or to get a snapshot of any progress from an earlier treatment.

Musculoskeletal MRI

A diagnostic test that uses magnetic resonance imaging to create images of the joint structures, including shoulders, hands, wrists, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and feet.

Neuro CT

A diagnostic imaging test that uses sophisticated X-ray equipment to specifically address the central nervous system and associated structures using imagery of the head and spine.

Neuro MRI

A type of MRI that helps diagnose tumors, herniated and degenerated discs, spinal injuries, brain injuries and any injuries or conditions associated with the central nervous system.

Neuro Quantification

A type of post-MRI assessment that measures sections of the brain and compares them to those measurements of healthy, age-related peers.

Pain Management

A broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic injections used to reduce inflammation, as well as evaluate and treat pain in the spine, hip and shoulder areas.

Vascular CTA

A test that combines computer technology, sophisticated X-ray equipment and a contrast agent to produce detailed images of the arteries and veins inside the body.

Office Location:
FRC is in Suite 104S, located on the main lobby level. Proceed left past the elevators. We are the last office at the end of the hallway.

After Hours Access:
Press the intercom button that is directly to the right of the glass doors at the main entrance.

Parking:

  • There are five designated spots for Fairfax Radiology in front of the building
  • Additional parking available in the visitor garage. Go through yellow gates and pull a ticket.
  • All parking will be validated upon completion of appointment.

Special Directions:  From I495, take Leesburg Pike exit, south towards Falls Church.  Right at first light onto Ramada Drive.  The Fairfax MRI and Imaging Center at Tysons is located on the first floor of the last building on the right on Ramada Drive.  Go through the lift gate for a parking voucher.  Make an immediate right turn just past the gate to the front of the building where you will find marked handicap and MRI Center designated parking.  Do not go into the garage unless the designated parking is occupied.  Please bring your parking voucher to the MRI Center reception for validation.  Enter the building and turn left at the concierge desk and follow the hall until its end at our doors at suite 104S.

On weekends or before 6am and after 6pm weekdays, there is a security access panel to the right of the main building entrance.  Push the silver button for security and tell the speaker you have an appointment with Fairfax Radiology.  If you have any issues with access afterhours, please call our reception desk at 703.893.2820 and someone will assist you.
