We offer state-of-the-art orthopedic and sports injury imaging, procedures and pain management to athletes of all ages and abilities. Whether you are professionally competitive, a weekend warrior or somewhere in between, we can help you get back to the activities you love.

Our subspecialty-trained musculoskeletal radiologists are uniquely qualified to detect subtle underlying problems and understand how they may affect your mobility and athletic performance. In fact, many of the best athletes in Northern Virginia trust their joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments to our imaging specialists.

At FRC, we offer:

  • Musculoskeletal MRI. Our advanced MRI technology can uncover structural problems that are otherwise difficult to see. MRI is recommended for evaluation of sports-related joint injury, arthritis and chronic joint pain. It can also be used to assess muscle and bone injury that is not apparent on conventional radiographs.
  • Musculoskeletal UltrasoundThis non-invasive imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. It can help diagnose sprains, strains, tears and other soft tissue conditions through static and dynamic evaluation.
  • Musculoskeletal CTOur most advanced CT equipment focuses on your extremities and spine and is used to help diagnose the cause of pains or symptoms. It can help evaluate fractures, joint and extremity pain, or neck and back pain. As well as provide a complete diagnosis of the injury, pathology or both.
