Fairfax, VA — September 23, 2025 — Fairfax Radiology Centers is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Kushal Y. Mehta, MD, a distinguished neuroradiologist, to its team of expert physicians.
Dr. Mehta brings over a decade of experience in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty in neuroradiology. Most recently, he served as Chairman of Radiology at United Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and has held key roles at Progressive Radiology. His clinical expertise spans acute stroke imaging, spine imaging, and functional MRI for pre-operative planning in epilepsy and brain tumor cases.
A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Mehta earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences with Summa Cum Laude honors. He completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was named Resident of the Year and served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Mehta is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.
