Fairfax, VA., August 2025 – Ufara Zuwasti, M.D., M.Sc., has joined Fairfax Radiology’s Breast Imaging team, bringing extensive expertise in diagnostic and breast imaging. Dr. Zuwasti most recently completed her Breast Imaging Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, preparing her to provide advanced breast imaging services for Northern Virginia patients.
Dr. Zuwasti earned her M.Sc. in Global Health Science from the University of Oxford and her medical degree from the University of Indonesia. She has significant experience in public health and radiology education, including leadership roles with RAD-AID International, where she advanced imaging services and training programs in underserved communities.

Dr. Zuwasti has published research on breast imaging, global health, and radiology quality improvement, and has presented at national and international radiology conferences.
