FAIRFAX, Va.—August 2025—Fairfax Radiology is excited to welcome Dhane F. Stomp, MD, to its Interventional Radiology team. Dr. Stomp brings extensive training in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and a strong background in both clinical care and research.
Dr. Stomp completed his Interventional Radiology residency at Yale School of Medicine and his Diagnostic Radiology training at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. He also completed a year of General Surgery residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Florida.
Throughout his training, Dr. Stomp focused on interventional oncology and vascular interventions, including research on hepatocellular carcinoma, microwave ablation outcomes, and transplant renal artery stenosis. He has presented his work at national conferences, including the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Stomp has a strong interest in artificial intelligence and venture capital in biotechnology. He lives in Washington, DC with wife. They enjoy exploring new restaurants, traveling, and completing New York Times crossword puzzles.
