Fairfax Radiology is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) “Race to Make It All Better 5K and Family Health Fair 2018”. This is the 4th fourth year of this important event, taking place at the Reston Town Center on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
For the last two years, Fairfax Radiology has participated in the Health Fair at the race. We visit with runners, their family and friends, and other community members. At Fairfax Radiology, we strive to give back to our community. We are happy to support our colleagues at PSV and encourage participants to sign up for this annual event.
Early bird registration is available for individuals until September 1. There are races for all ages including a Kids 3 & under Tot Trot, Kids 12 and Under 5K, Kids 4-8 Fun Run, and an Adult race. There will be giveaways, raffle prizes, and face painting.
Per the Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) website, the race and family friendly health fair will run from 8:30-11:30 in the Reston Town Center Pavilion and is a fundraising event that supports patients and families in need, important education and research initiatives, technologies to aid in patient care, and other areas of greatest need.
Some of the families with children receiving care at PSV are experiencing serious health problems such as cancer, diabetes, autism, kidney disease, scoliosis, and arthritis to name but a few.
