Imaging exams and procedures can be stressful for anyone—especially young children. Whether your child suffers a fall or injury that requires a routine X-ray or has symptoms that warrant other imaging tests, you would go anywhere for the very best care. The good news is you do not have to go far.

Our practice allows you to get comprehensive imaging for a child of any age, from neonate to adolescent, right in your neighborhood. Fairfax Radiology is the only private practice in the region staffed with Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained Pediatric Radiologists. In addition, our other subspecialists in Neurologic, Cardiac and Musculoskeletal Imaging bring extensive knowledge and understanding of pediatric anatomy and disease. This allows us to provide the best care possible for your child.

In addition to being specialized in the treatment of childhood injuries and disorders, our Pediatric Radiologists are also extremely gentle and caring when dealing with anxious children and their parents. Our team takes the time to ensure that you know exactly what to expect every step of the way because we would expect the same if it were our child.

Many of the pediatric exams offered at our locations are tailored versions of traditional adult imaging techniques such as X-ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). We do our best to provide these services in a child-friendly environment.
