Dental CT
Dental CT is the most advanced form of imaging available to help determine accurate implant placement. Traditional CT data is reformatted into multiple images that provide accurate and comprehensive information about the patient’s anatomy. It is ideal for visualizing important internal structures, assessing bone quality and providing additional confidence with complex surgical cases. Fairfax Radiological Consultants, P.C (FRC) is the first practice to offer complete Dental CT scanning services and is the only SimPlant Master site in the region.
- FRC uses a state-of-the-art, multi-detector GE LightSpeed CT scanner, which means fast scanning and superb resolution. No IV or oral contrast is required.
- Re-formatted images allow simultaneous viewing of cross-sectional, panoramic, axial and 3-D images in an interactive setting.
- Scatter and artifact is edited out of the 3-D images.
- Clinical concerns can be fully investigated by one of our neuro-radiologists with an optional interpretation (additional fee applies).
- Scans are performed at our Woodburn location which is centrally located in Northern VA and convenient to the beltway.
- Current SimPlant customers will no longer have to send your data out-of state for formatting.

SimPlant View
A free viewing software that allows interactive viewing and basic planning capabilities. The planning tools included in this user-friendly software are an interactive 3D image, zoom functions, multiple contrast settings, distance and angle measurement tools and more.
SimPlant Planner
A powerful implant planning software offered by Materialise. It helps the implantologist find the perfect spot for every implant, achieving the most esthetic result. SimPlant Planner is full of tools that embody that purpose:

- True 3D planning, involving realistic implants, and views inside the bone
- Easy assessment of the bone density

SimPlant OneShot
A fully functional trial version of SimPlant Planner that is perfect for those interested in trying SimPlant Planner or who only occasionally plan in a software environment. (Additional fee applies per Dental CT exam)
Dental CT studies performed at FRC can also be formatted to accommodate non-SimPlant users.
