FRC’s Diagnostic Vascular Laboratories Receive ICAVL Accreditation
Posted on Nov 1, 2008![]() | |
The accreditation process is a comprehensive voluntarily review which demonstrates a commitment to the performance of quality vascular testing through meeting nationally recognized standards. During the accreditation process, vascular laboratories submit documentation on every aspect of their daily operations.
While completing the application, laboratories are required to identify and correct potential problems, revise protocols and validate quality assurance programs. Applications include samples of the vascular examinations performed and are reviewed by experts throughout the United States and Canada. Accreditation is granted only to those facilities that are found to provide quality patient care in compliance with The ICAVL Standards. Once granted, ICAVL accreditation is valid for a period of three years, after which time the facility must undergo a repeat evaluation.
The accredited FRC sites providing vascular imaging are:
FRC’s Diagnostic Vascular Laboratory
FRC’s Diagnostic Vascular Laboratory at Woodburn
